An Agreement Has Been Reached

We have reached an agreement with the Builders' Association for a four year contract beginning April 1, 2009.

The agreement includes economic increases as follows:

• 1st year - $1.50

• 2nd year - $1.50

• 3rd year - $1.60

• 4th year - $1.65

Along with the economic increases the new agreement also extends the subcontract clause to Cass County, Missouri, Miami and Linn County Kansas.  The new agreement also increases the pension contribution for apprentices after 1300 hours.

We are nearly 14,000 skilled craftsmen that work as carpenters, cabinetmakers, millwrights, piledrivers, lathers, framers, floorlayers, drywallers, and workers in related industries, who live and work in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Wyoming.
